Offense Dynamics
Offense Dynamics presents measured and interpreted movement patterns within software-detected attacking context. It describes movement organization without determining tactical intent, prescribing actions, or judging the athlete.
What this report is
Offense Dynamics analyzes how movement metrics and derived findings appear during segments classified by the software as attacking context. References to initiative, pressure, timing, weapon-line organization, or execution describe the analyzed movement pattern, not the athlete’s intention, strategy, or decision quality.
The report combines objective measurements with contextual interpretation. A diagnosis or finding must not be converted by itself into a technical, tactical, strategic, medical, psychological, or human verdict. It does not identify the correct fencing decision or determine why the athlete acted.
Available modes
Static
A Static Offense Dynamics report is based on one eligible video containing sufficient software-detected attacking context. It presents aggregated movement findings from that material.
Longitudinal
A Longitudinal Offense Dynamics report requires at least 5 eligible comparable videos. It evaluates trend (Progress, Flat, or Regress) and constancy (Consistent or Inconsistent) within that comparable set.
Contextual Versus uses one eligible video to compare the reference athlete in attacking context with the opponent in the corresponding defensive context.
Input requirements
Static
Requires one eligible video containing sufficient software-detected attacking context.
Longitudinal
Requires at least 5 eligible comparable videos of the same athlete, recorded under reasonably similar conditions.
Contextual Versus
Requires one eligible film with both athletes sufficiently visible and opposite movement contexts available for comparison.
Video quality matters
Every uploaded video must show both fencers, be no longer than 15 seconds, have a minimum resolution of 720p and a minimum frame rate of 30 fps, and be supplied only as an MP4 or MOV file. Poor framing, occlusion, blur, camera instability, or insufficient weapon or body visibility may reduce reliability, produce partial output, or make the video ineligible. Contextual versus analysis
Single film
In contextual versus, the comparison is made on one eligible film with both athletes sufficiently visible during the relevant action.
Reference athlete
A reference athlete is selected for the report view. If the reference side is analyzed in offensive context, the opponent side can be analyzed in defensive context, and vice versa.
Metrics and states
Only metrics with valid measured values for both athletes are compared. Differences are relative to the analyzed recording and are interpreted only according to the report thresholds. Bad, Average, and Good are metric states, not rankings. A small or negligible difference between two Bad states does not establish a tactical advantage or general superiority.
