Biomech Profile

Biomech Profile provides a software-based baseline view of how the fencer moves: balance, coordination, movement efficiency, and kinetic-chain behavior. It is the starting point before deeper issue, offensive, defensive, or comparison reports.

What this report is

Biomech Profile is the baseline report. It combines objective movement measurements with derived biomechanical metrics and contextual interpretation to provide an aggregated overview of the fencer’s movement profile in the analyzed material.

It does not explain every frame, determine tactical intent, or provide coaching instructions. Measurements describe the analyzed material; interpretations are contextual and may be uncertain. A diagnosis assigned to one metric is not, by itself, a technical, tactical, strategic, medical, or human verdict.

Available modes

Static

A Static Biomech Profile is based on one eligible video. It presents the aggregated general biomechanical profile calculated from that material.

Longitudinal

A Longitudinal Biomech Profile requires at least 5 eligible comparable videos recorded across time. It describes measured changes and interpreted trends within that comparable video set.

Versus

A Versus Biomech Profile compares the two athletes visible in one eligible video. It presents relative differences within that analyzed recording and does not establish general superiority, ranking, or predicted performance.

Input requirements

Video quality matters

Every uploaded video must show both fencers, be no longer than 15 seconds, have a minimum resolution of 720p and a minimum frame rate of 30 fps, and be supplied only as an MP4 or MOV file. Poor framing, occlusion, blur, camera instability, or insufficient weapon or body visibility may reduce reliability, produce partial output, or make the video ineligible. Longitudinal analysis needs comparable videos

Longitudinal analysis is more reliable when the same athlete is recorded in similar conditions, with similar angle, distance, visibility, and action context.

Read this report as the athlete’s movement baseline, not as a tactical breakdown or a point-by-point replay.

Use it as a starting point

Use it as the first analytical layer, then move into Issue Dynamics, Offense Dynamics, Defense Dynamics, or Versus when you want more specific report context.
